The Colombian geochronological database (CGD)

Geochronological databases are powerful tools for characterizing the crustal evolution and age spectra of a region allow comparison with other areas at regional scale. In this contribution, we present Colombian Database (CGD), which contains curated compilation ca. 67,406 individual published U-Th-Pb, K-Ar, Ar-Ar, Rb-Sr, Sm-Nd, Lu-Hf, Fission-track, U-Th-He, Re-Os mineral whole rock ages that reported in literature. Each date includes geographic coordinates, geological setting, petrologic chemical information extracted from respective publications.
