چکیده
Geochronological databases are powerful tools for characterizing the crustal evolution and age spectra of a region allow comparison with other areas at regional scale. In this contribution, we present Colombian Database (CGD), which contains curated compilation ca. 67,406 individual published U-Th-Pb, K-Ar, Ar-Ar, Rb-Sr, Sm-Nd, Lu-Hf, Fission-track, U-Th-He, Re-Os mineral whole rock ages that reported in literature. Each date includes geographic coordinates, geological setting, petrologic chemical information extracted from respective publications. The structure database provides interface constructing queries allows searching extracting on domains, provinces, stratigraphic units, isotopic systems, interpretations, references, etc. This establishes framework global interpretations geochronological, stratigraphic, structural palaeogeographic implications. With effort to geoscience community clear insight, perspective, geology tectonics Colombia since Precambrian times. all (detrital magmatic) single zircon U-Pb dates (Gondwana sourced) geochronological Global North American (Laurentia temporal constraint South continent. define 13 peak clusters centred 1767, 1530, 1325, 1178, 1007, 605,540, 468, 271, 237, 182, 76 10 Ma but those, only few have good correlation three databases: 1007 (Grenvillian/Orinoquian/Putumayo Orogeny), 605 (Braziliano/Pan-African 468 (Famatinian/Taconic 182 (Break-up Pangea) peaks. suggests some tectonic events might represent production preservation while peaks just local arc magmatic events.

The Candida Genome Database (CGD), a community resource for Candida albicans gene and protein information
The Candida Genome Database (CGD) is a new database that contains genomic information about the opportunistic fungal pathogen Candida albicans. CGD is a public resource for the research community that is interested in the molecular biology of this fungus. CGD curators are in the process of combing the scientific literature to collect all C.albicans gene names and aliases; to assign gene ontolog...
متن کاملArctic Holocene proxy climate database – new approaches to assessing geochronological accuracy and encoding climate variables
We present a systematic compilation of previously published Holocene proxy climate records from the Arctic. We identified 170 sites from north of 58 N latitude where proxy time series extend back at least to 6 cal ka (all ages in this article are in calendar years before present – BP), are resolved at submillennial scale (at least one value every 400± 200 years) and have age models constrained ...

The Candida Genome Database (CGD, http://www.candidagenome.org/) is a freely available online resource that provides gene, protein and sequence information for multiple Candida species, along with web-based tools for accessing, analyzing and exploring these data. The mission of CGD is to facilitate and accelerate research into Candida pathogenesis and biology, by curating the scientific literat...
متن کامل[Two breakthroughs in CGD studies].
Studies in Chronic Granulomatous Disease showed two breakthroughs during this past decade. First, the discovery of 7 Nox/Duox family proteins, Noxo1 and Noxa1 (homologues of gp91(phox), p47(phox) and p67(phox)) may clarify novel physiological mechanisms for superoxide regulation in various organs, such as the regulation of blood pressure, mucosal defense system in respiratory/digestive tract an...
متن کاملOvercoming database heterogeneity to facilitate social networks: the Colombian displaced population as a case study
In this paper we describe a two-step approach for the publication of data about displaced people in Colombia, whose lack of homogeneity represents a major barrier for the application of adequate policies. This data is available in heterogeneous data sources, mainly relational, and is not connected to social networking sites. Our approach consists in a first step where ontologies are automatical...
